As a teen, Kevin attended Elk Grove High School in Chicago, which had an award-winning marching band, orchestra & Jazz Band - He was a top All-State soloist during this time and decided to continue his study of music in college.

Kevin furthered his musicial education at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Georgetown University and NYU - During his undergraduate years, he gained exposure to many different styles and genres, and enjoyed an active performing and recording career alongside his studies.

At the age of 21, Kevin decided to move to Los Angeles, CA. - to pursue a professional performance career. Along the way, he had memorable experiences and collaborations with many artists, including Bunky Green, William Kennedy, Bernard Wright, Yellowjackets, Jeff  Lorber and many more!

The cornerstone of Kevin's methodology is based around customization of the curriculum for each individual student. "Go at your own pace" is the message he shares, so students feel successful and confident throughout their studies and can enjoy what they are playing in the moment.

His goal for his students is not only to master their specific instrument, but to develop an appreciation and understanding of artistry and musicianship. He firmly believes that every student can enrich their lives with music and find joy in playing an instrument. Kevin works with students of all ages, and plays and teaches everything from classical music to contemporary genres such as rock, jazz, and pop. It's safe to say that music is his life, and he feels blessed to be able to inspire his students in their love of music.
