  Laura’s journey with music began at a young age when she started teaching herself to read music at four years old. She has played piano off and on through the years and sang in choir throughout school. Her passion is deeply influenced by her grandmother, who was a remarkable musician that performed as a violinist in the Kansas City Civic Orchestra, the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, and even graced the stage of Carnegie Hall.

 

    As a mother of four, Laura has introduced her own children to reading and appreciating music. They have a very loud, music filled household. Laura specializes in teaching beginners and believes in both starting with a strong foundation, and including songs students are passionate about.
