Edward graduated from Shenandoah University Music Conservatory with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies and Piano Performance. He possesses certification from the American College of Musicians (National Guild of Piano Teachers).

     Edward taught Piano and Music for over ten years. While teaching music, Edward developed lesson strategies drawn from his music performance, and music training having been taught and mentored by Mr. Alan Baylock, Jazz Chief Arranger of the U.S. Airmen of Note, Dr. Craig Fraedrich of the U.S. Army Blues, Dr. Robert Larson, Director of Jazz Studies, and Dr. Bob Strain, Doctor of Musical Arts.

      Edward possesses skills in teaching improvisation and streamlining theoretical concepts, sight reading, aural skills, ear training, and implementing different musical styles. He actively performs as pianist at private and public venues throughout the Washington DC Metro Area.  His love for music goes back to when he was in primary school while attending the American and British Schools Abroad and being stationed and travelling with his parents who were with the U.S. Diplomatic Service in countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Middle East and Europe.
