Teaching

Michael is the CEO and a teacher at Music Lessons In Your House. He started playing in 1979 and has been teaching since 1987. He holds a Bachelor's Degree from the Berklee College of Music. He is an active member of the National Piano Guild (American College of Musicians). 

 

Performance

Michael is the former drummer for Miami 2017 (Billy Joel Tribute) and Messenger (Christian Hard Rock Band). His solo acoustic guitar/vocal performances pay tribute to 50's, 60's 70's 80's & 90's Rock & Roll and feature his original material. He is a musician at Faith Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Brooksville, FL.

 

Composition

He produced four CDs of original material: Acoustic Pop, Supernatural, Moth & Rust, & Decades.  Michael received honorable mentions in Piano Guild Magazines for his piano compositions:  After The Storm  (2020), Faith (2022),  Sunset Lullaby  (2023), & Florida Coastline (2024).

He is the author of Rhythm.

He published Music Lessons In Your House,  The Musical Card Game / Flash Cards in 2024.

Philosophy

Over the years Michael has learned that passion for music can't be taught, but appreciation for music can be encouraged. Discovering music that stirs the soul will result in excitement to learn. Michael's philosophy is that he is a guide and the student is the teacher. All students must be self taught.
