    Maria started learning piano at 4 years old. She has been teaching voice and piano for over 30 years .  She has an associates in music from Nassau Community and Juilliard for piano performance .  She teaches all forms of music, be it classical , contemporary, Jazz, theory, and composition.  She coaches for competitions at all levels for Voice and Piano.  

    Maria started performing professionally in 1997.  She has performed in various restaurants in New York City.   She has written three musicals and recorded songs for kids.  She has directed musical theater productions like Frozen,  Madagascar, Annie, for youngsters and for adults  Mamma Mia.  She has also written and directed the musical Esther Rocks, John Prepares and Way, and Ruth.  She has a strong background in both piano and vocal technique. She taught at Frank & Camille's Keyboard Center in Long Island, New York from 1990-2008 and has been with Music Lessons In Your House since 2025.
