Ezekiel Roebuck is a classically trained musician, accomplished educator, composer, arranger, and Music Director with more than a decade of professional experience in music performance, education, and arts leadership. A graduate of Morgan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance, Ezekiel has dedicated his career to inspiring audiences and developing aspiring musicians through excellence in performance, instruction, and creative collaboration.

      As a versatile multi-instrumentalist, Ezekiel is proficient in piano, organ, drums, percussion, guitar, and voice. His dynamic musicianship has afforded him opportunities to perform alongside respected artists and ensembles throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region, including the Morgan State University Jazz Combo, Jazz Ensemble, Concert Band, and the internationally recognized MSU Magnificent Marching Machine, as well as J.E.L., Sophisticated Delight, Rare Essence, Pitch Black, and numerous churches, community organizations, and live productions.

Ezekiel's performance career extends beyond the concert stage. He served as pianist for the Off-Broadway production of "A Raisin in the Sun" by Lorraine Hansberry in Baltimore, Maryland, demonstrating his versatility in theatrical accompaniment and collaborative performance. In 2019, his musical excellence earned him advancement to the first round of the nationally recognized GEICOGIC Talent Showcase, where he received praise from gospel music icon Karen Clark Sheard and other distinguished industry panelists.

 

     Beyond performance, Ezekiel is an experienced music educator with a passion for cultivating creativity, discipline, and confidence in students of all ages and skill levels. Throughout his career, he has designed engaging music curricula, directed instrumental and vocal ensembles, provided private instruction, and mentored young musicians in performance techniques, music theory, improvisation, composition, and ensemble musicianship. His teaching philosophy emphasizes technical excellence while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

 

     As a Music Director and arranger, Ezekiel specializes in developing high-quality musical productions, rehearsing ensembles, coordinating live performances, and creating original arrangements tailored to diverse musical styles. He is highly skilled in industry-standard music production software, including Logic Pro, Ableton Live, and Pro Tools, allowing him to compose, arrange, produce, and record professional-quality music. His original works are available on all major digital streaming platforms.
